No weapon that has been made to be used
against you will succeed. You will have an answer for anyone who accuses you.
This is the inheritance of the LORD's servants. Their victory comes from
me," declares the LORD. - Isaiah 54:17
Confusion is a weapon of Satan used to
bring paralysis. Though opportunities abound you find that confusion sowed in
the minds of people cause them to fail take advantage of the opportunity. That
is why many undeveloped nations suffer because the leaders have been injected
with the spirit of confusion by the devil. The children of Israel wandered and
perished in the wilderness (Numbers 32:13)
because of confusion which led to unbelief. Some wanted to go back to Egypt! In
their minds they still harboured Egypt which led to confusion as they sought
other means of survival and others even worshipped idols and in the cause died
and failed to reach their promised land. As the confusion ensued some leaders
even rebelled against Moses the chosen leader (Numbers 16:1-2) and this
still happens to day right from countries to the smallest of organisations.
When seeds of confusion are sown they come in as rumours and soon graduate to
accusations and finally chaos and destruction.
The devil knows that if he can paralyse the
leader of a nation through confusion, he can then paralyse the whole nation
because the leader will be making poor irrational decisions which end up
affecting the citizens that is why you see some nations on earth are in
perpetual poverty despite the abundance of resources and their citizens have to
leave and work almost as slaves in foreign lands whilst the leaders enrich
themselves – this is not normal! It is the spirit of confusion at work. Have you ever wondered why many leaders
start well then gradually become dictators and even tyrants? I can assure
you that there is a power above them that is causing them to behave that way.
Therefore it is of paramount importance that we pray seriously for our leaders
as the decisions they make eventually affect you whether you realise it or not.
PRAYER
Father we especially lift our leaders up to
you, give them ears to hear and eyes to see you. Give them hearts to follow you
and courage to resist the schemes and agents of the devil. Let them realise
that you possess all power in heaven and earth and there is nothing too
difficult for you. Just as you save the Israelites against the mightiest army
at that time, let our leaders also realise that you are the true super power
and utterly dependable. We rebuke any principalities that are injecting
confusion in the hearts of our leaders causing them to hear the devil’s voice,
we cancel their works in the name of Jesus, and we bind them and cause them to
be powerless. Father grant us godly leaders, leaders who seek you, leaders who
after seeking you will obey you practically! We remove any negative influence
and anti-God thoughts that are threatening to envelope them!
For the leaders who are in the wrong place please move them to their designated
places of authority, for those who are obstacles to peace we cast them aside in
Jesus name. God we need you to move the mountain of confusion fight now and
save our land. We thank you for answered prayer and praise you for your
faithfulness!
Amen
WORDS OF WISDOM
PRAYER is the answer to every problem in
life. It puts us in tune with divine wisdom which knows how to adjust
everything perfectly. So often we do not pray in certain situations, because
from our standpoint the outlook is hopeless. But, nothing is impossible with
God. Nothing is so entangled that it cannot be remedied; no human relationship
is to strained for God to bring about reconciliation and understanding.
No habit so deep rooted that it cannot be
overcome; no one is so weak that he cannot be strong; no one is so ill that he
cannot be healed. No mind is so dull that it cannot be made brilliant. Whatever
we need if we trust God He will supply it. If anything is causing worry or
anxiety, let us stop rehearsing the difficulty and trust God for healing, love
and strength. - Ellen G. White Oct. 7, 1865
