Prayer against the spirit of confusion

1 Corinthians 14:33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (here, the term peace can also be translated to mean a quiet and restful mind, not troubled by confusion or doubt).
Psalms 35:4
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

When the leaders who are the head of the country become confused or show signs of confusion by contradicting each other (http://www.redpepper.co.ug/m7-cdf-clash-over-s-sudan-war/) you know that the spirit of confusion is at work and since the head is confused so will the body be and act in confusion as well.

PRAYER
Father! In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of confusion that is visiting our land especially the leaders. We bind the spirit of confusion and cause it to fail in the name of Jesus because you said in your word that whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven. We also loose the spirit of clarity and order in the name of Jesus. We now know that you God are not the author of confusion but Satan is the father of confusion therefore we stop his works in the name of Jesus. Father I pray for that student who is confused and is struggling to understand, I loose the spirit of understanding and excellence. I pray for that employee who is having difficulty with the task at hand, give him wisdom and strength, like Joseph in the bible, grant him favour with the employer. I rebuke that spirit of fear inviting confusion in the reader’s soul, I speak comfort and grace to you I speak victory. I pray for that leader who is confused and does not know what next to do. I pray for that Member of Parliament who is facing hopelessness and confusion, give them grace and courage to bring order to their community. Give our MPs courage, integrity and vision to guide the country. We cast out any agent of confusion from entering the corridors of power and parliament in the name of Jesus

God! Any spirit of confusion that has taken over our leaders’ minds we rebuke that in the name of Jesus for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Jesus according to your word, you have given us power over all the power of the enemy therefore we cast out that spirit of confusion in the name of Jesus. God grant confidence to the reader, I remove any invisible blindness brought about by this spirit of confusion, I command vision and wisdom in them in the name of Jesus. I thank you because you always answer our prayers according to your word, we praise you and bless your name in Jesus name, I speak peace to you right now! Amen!

QUOTES
In our deepest moments of struggle, frustration, fear, and confusion, we are being called upon to reach in and touch our hearts. Then, we will know what to do, what to say, how to be. What is right is always in our deepest heart of hearts. It is from the deepest part of our hearts that we are capable of reaching out and touching another human being. It is, after all, one heart touching another heart.
